National Graduate School of Management (NGSM)
The National Graduate School of Management was formed in
1994 as the business school of the Australian National University.
The
ANU College of Business and Economics
came into being with the integration in 2006 of a number of academic units
including the two major components, the Faculty of Economics and Commerce
and the National Graduate School of Management.
The ANU College of Business and Economics seeks to advance
knowledge through high quality teaching and research in the closely related
fields of business and economics. It contributes to the associated
professions, industry and government by conducting world class research and
through the provision of a range of coursework and research degree programs.

Sir Roland Wilson Building
The Sir Roland Wilson Building was opened by the Prime Minister of
Australia, the Hon. John Howard, in August 1999. It is named after Sir
Roland Wilson, KBE, who was one of Australia's leading public servants.
During his distinguished career he was the Commonwealth Statistician and Economic Adviser
to Treasury and Secretary to the Department of Labour and National Services
and the Commonwealth Treasury. He was also Chairman of key Government
institutions including the Commonwealth
Banking Corporation and Qantas Airways.
The building was designed by Daryl Jackson, a highly regarded Australian
architect, and is purpose built for the education needs of the ANU graduate
business students.
